The Harlem Wizards are back! On Friday, January 23, the world-famous Harlem Wizards return to the William Floyd High School west gym for another fun-filled evening of dazzling trick shots, alley-oops and comedic basketball skills, in which students and staff will have an opportunity take the court with this group of amazing athletes! Faculty, staff and administrators from John S. Hobart Elementary School, Tangier Smith Elementary School and the William Floyd Learning Center, will also battle the Wizards for bragging rights in a game! Doors open at 6 pm and the event begins at 7 pm. Tickets are still available!

The event will feature the Wizards dazzling the crowd with their basketball skills, a “Wiz Kids” warm-up, comedy, contests, slam dunks, audience participation, giveaways and more! The game will conclude with the Wizards’ signature dance party that will have the crowd on their feet!

The William Floyd roster includes for Hobart: Mr. Virgona, Mr. Abbene, Mr. Diaz, Ms. Fehmel, Ms. Mastrup, Ms. Prestia, Mr. Roldan, Mrs. Spencer, Mrs. Wallace, Mr. Young and Mr. Carey serving as the coach. Representing Tangier Smith will be Mr. Ciliotta, Mr. Slinkosky, Mr. Melandro, Ms. Romero, Mr. Paniccia, Mr. Scudero, Mr. Rode, Mr. Dechiaro, Mrs. Clark and Mr. Germer. Playing for the William Floyd Learning Center will be Mr. Bretton, Mrs. Prestia, Ms. Gonzalez, Mr. Delince, Mr. Kimmerling and Mr. Cook.

There are a variety of tickets still available with a portion of the proceeds benefiting each school’s PTO. General admission is $20, (ages 3 and under are free), special reserved student and adult seating is $35, courtside plus (student and adult) is $50 which includes extra perks.
