students enjoying a special luncheon

William Floyd Middle School students recently had the opportunity to go where few students have gone before – the faculty lounge! As a reward for being “caught doing the right thing,” 120 students were treated to a special PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) luncheon with the theme “A Taste of Italy.” With Italian music streamed into the lounge and centerpieces created by the PTO adding to the ambiance, students enjoyed a homecooked meal of ziti, meatballs and Italian bread as a reward for their good behavior! Special thanks to Christina Nugent, Candice Carr and Kyle Maurelli for preparing and serving the delicious food and to the staff for generously donating juice boxes, water and desserts for this event!
