William Floyd Middle School seventh grader Olivia Chen recently earned the crown of Suffolk County spelling bee champion in the Bay Shore Buzz Countywide Middle School bee! Olivia, who finished in the top three last year a sixth grader, correctly spelled the word amoeba to take home the title! For her efforts, she received a trophy and a $500 prize sponsored by the Bay Shore Middle School Student Council. Congratulations, Olivia!
