Suffolk County will be providing an opportunity for members of the local community to receive a COVID-19 vaccination this Saturday, May 8, from 9 am to 3 pm at William Floyd High School. Suffolk County will be providing the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine by appointment only to county residents ages 18 and over.
The Suffolk County Police Department Emergency Medical Services unit will be administering the vaccines as they have for many Suffolk County-sponsored community vaccination events.
Those who sign up for the vaccine may receive a text or email to pre-register for the event the day before the vaccine distribution. That information should be filled out, as well.
