William Floyd High School and William Floyd Middle School student-musicians have been selected to join the New York State Band Directors Association (NYSBDA) honor band this school year! NYSBDA is a prestigious honor that recognizes student-musicians throughout New York State who earned an excellent score on their New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) solo adjudications and received a recommendation from their teacher. The William Floyd student-musicians who earned NYSBDA honors will be performing alongside some of the top student-musicians in the state at the NYSBDA Symposium in Syracuse, NY from March 6-8! Additionally, one student-musician was selected as an alternate for the honor band.  

Congratulations to all of the student-musicians and their instructors on this fantastic achievement!
