The 2026-27 school district calendar is available in digital format! Residents should have received a printed version in their mailboxes. Please be sure to bookmark this link for digital access!

Schedules
Schedules K-8 will be available on the Parent Portal by the close of business on Wednesday, August 26; grades 9-12 will be available by the close of business on Friday, August 28. Parents/guardians are encouraged to use these remaining days to verify that their username and password are working in order to view their child’s schedule when released. Students should also verify that their student portal usernames and passwords are working if they would like to see their schedules when released. Click here to access the Parent Portal. School Meals
Students in the William Floyd School District will enjoy free breakfast and lunch during the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The district’s food services program has been approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, a non-pricing meal service option for schools and school districts in economically-disadvantaged communities. Participating districts provide one free breakfast and one free lunch each day of the school year at no cost to all students enrolled regardless of family income level. CEP is federally subsidized by the USDA. New York State has also implemented a free school meal program for all students beginning last school year.

William Floyd High School
Ninth-Grade Orientation (Students Only): September 2, 2026. Please note that this is not an instructional day, but orientation to the building processes and procedures for ninth-grade students. It is not a required attendance day. Students will be able to receive their student identification cards and familiarize themselves with the building. Transportation will be provided. Students should be at their designated bus stops for pick-up by 6:20 am and wait for the bus. Transportation schedules will be forthcoming. Students will then be transported home beginning at approximately 10 am.
