“I look forward to serving on the Board of Education and helping to impact the lives of our students and community in a positive way,” said Mr. Cassarino. “A strong education is essential for our students to gain more employable skills in a job market with already high standards. My entire family is extremely proud to be Floyd Strong, and I will bring that spirit to board meetings and our community.”

Mr. Cassarino was elected to the seat vacated by longtime Board of Education trustee Jeananne Dawson, who passed away on September 26, 2019. Mr. Cassarino has known Mrs. Dawson for more than 35 years, and had the honor of being one of her religious education students.
