The William Floyd High School varsity girls tennis team finished another banner year – second place in the division, a 9-2 overall record, a top eight seed in Suffolk County and outstanding performances in the Division and County tournaments!

Led by the legendary tennis coach Dave Pia, who was recently named Suffolk County League Coach of the Year for a 10th time, the Colonials excelled despite the team playoffs being canceled due to the modified season. If team playoffs occurred, the Colonials’ performance on the court would have qualified them for the 18th consecutive year.

Ten student-athletes earned honors for their outstanding play on the court, including doubles players Amanda Jones, Hailey O'Connor, Chandni Patel and Isabella Saladin, who earned a spot on the All-County team by advancing to the semifinals. Additionally, Saskia DaSilva and Rachel Zummo earned All-Division honors by advancing to the quarterfinals. Singles players Casey Musselman, Adrianna Filippelli, Cassidy Conway and Jacqueline Sutherland all earned All-League honors.

Congratulations to Coach Pia and the Colonials on another great season!
