Custodial/Facility Positions (2+)

Maintenance Mechanic III (MMIII) HVAC - Facilities
MMIII is responsible for performing maintenance, upkeep and replacement (where needed) of existing HVAC equipment, including roof top units, window units, mini splits, refrigeration, heating units and ventilation systems throughout the district in all eight district buildings. This includes working directly with the facilities department along with the Chief Custodians and when needed with outside vendors to ensure all systems are functioning to district standards. They will also need to understand the operational controls of the BMS system and help with setting parameters to control building comfort during all four seasons in classrooms, offices and general areas. Assisting in snow response and removal is required.
A Universal HVAC License is required.
Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Salary: $65,581 annually.
Must meet Civil Service approval, have a valid driver's license and an HVAC Universal License.

In-School Suspension Teacher - William Floyd High School
Job Description: Full-time position available at William Floyd High School -- In School Suspension (ISS) teacher. The ISS teacher will provide academic support to students assigned to the WFHS In-School Suspension Room. The ISS teacher will receive a half hour lunch per day and will not be responsible for an additional duty and will not receive a prep period. This position is a non-aligned position and is not part of the William Floyd United Teachers unit. Primary responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: academic supervision and the creation of an environment conducive to learning.
Salary: $40,000/year plus health benefits
