The William Floyd High School Acasations, the combined a cappella group featuring the beautiful voices of the Acabellas and the Soundsations, under the direction of music teachers Donia Rivera and Michelle Seifert, respectively, will be competing this weekend in the SingStrong International A Cappella High School Competition at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center in Garden City! Performers had to be accepted into this competition, which is open to the best a cappella groups from around the world!
The William Floyd High School Medical Club led by science educator Terri Randall continues to make a difference in the lives of children across Long Island with the club’s yearly donation to benefit the Child Life Department at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. This year’s donation was $600, bringing the five-year total to more than $3,500.
