HELPFUL TIPS FOR NEW REGISTRANTS

Registering in a new school district can be an overwhelming task. Here at William Floyd, we hope to make it a pleasant experience as we welcome you to our district. Below please find some tips to help make your registration process as smooth as possible:

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Please read the website information thoroughly to learn what you will need to bring with you. This will help you to have all the necessary documents with you the first time and eliminate any “running around” or second trips back to the office.

CHECK THE DATES ON ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS

Are your utility bills current? Please be sure to bring bills that are within the last 30 days. We cannot accept outdated documents.

BRING DOCUMENTS THAT ARE ORIGINAL – LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE

Please do not bring photocopies or documents that have white out, words crossed out or written over. We cannot accept any documents that have been altered.

CALL AHEAD (631) 874-1170

Please call the office with any questions about the necessary paperwork before you arrive. If you are missing anything, we can let you know before you get here. You may also want to call before you arrive to inquire about the estimated wait time.

We are excited to share with you all the wonderful things the William Floyd School District has to offer. Be sure to ask about our district programs and accomplishments when you visit us in Central Registration.
