Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is ongoing. Please register now as kindergarten screenings for new entrants take place over the summer!

Incoming kindergartners must be five years of age on or before December 1, 2025 in order to register for the upcoming school year. 

If your child is already registered in a William Floyd UPK or special education Pre-K program, you do not need to register.

Your registration will consist of a phone appointment and an email exchange of paperwork. To initiate kindergarten registrations for the 2025-2026 school year, please email CentralRegistration@wfsd.k12.ny.us and type "2025-2026 Kindergarten" in the subject line.

For all elementary and middle school students:

Sign-outs are completed at the building your child attends. *For withdrawals between July 14, 2025 and August 8, 2025 when buildings are closed, please follow the directions below high school or out-of-district placement withdrawals.

For high school or out of district placements (i.e. BOCES):

Please email CentralRegistration@wfsd.k12.ny.us and type "Withdraw" in the subject line. Please include the following information in the body of your email

• Your name

CHECK THE DATES ON ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS

Are your utility bills current? Please be sure to submit bills that are within the last 30 days. We cannot accept outdated documents.
