Four William Floyd High School seniors in Theresa Bianco’s art class were recently honored at the “All County & Senior Scholarship Art Show” sponsored by the Suffolk County Art Leaders Association (SCALA) in partnership with the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts. For their efforts, the student-artists received certificates from Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Shaffer, as well as 17th District Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly. The students and their families also enjoyed a special reception honoring their accomplishments.
Fine Arts
Welcome to the William Floyd Fine Arts Department homepage. All students are encouraged to express themselves creatively as their talents are discovered and nurtured. The opportunities made available to students in the Art, Music, Theater, and Dance programs are due to the hard work of a dedicated staff and the support of our community and district. The excellence achieved by students within the Fine Arts program is a testament of that support.
