Fine Arts

Welcome to the William Floyd Fine Arts Department homepage. All students are encouraged to express themselves creatively as their talents are discovered and nurtured. The opportunities made available to students in the Art, Music, Theater, and Dance programs are due to the hard work of a dedicated staff and the support of our community and district. The excellence achieved by students within the Fine Arts program is a testament of that support.

The William Floyd School District recently celebrated the 285th birthday of William Floyd, the district namesake and one of only 56 men to sign the Declaration of Independence. In what has become an annual tradition over the past 10 years, students and staff from all across the school district celebrate and commemorate the life and legacy of Mr. Floyd with special events and activities focused on this year's theme of helping others and serving the community.
