Fine Arts

Welcome to the William Floyd Fine Arts Department homepage. All students are encouraged to express themselves creatively as their talents are discovered and nurtured. The opportunities made available to students in the Art, Music, Theater, and Dance programs are due to the hard work of a dedicated staff and the support of our community and district. The excellence achieved by students within the Fine Arts program is a testament of that support.

The William Floyd School District has been working diligently to prepare for the potential re-opening of schools for in-person instruction for the 2020-21 school year. The district is committed to keeping our residents informed so this page will serve as a one-stop location for re-opening information and updates.

The New York State School Board Association (NYSSBA) recognizes October 19-23 as School Board Recognition Week in New York State. This NYSSBA initiative is an effort to recognize school board members for their commitment to education, and most of all, to the students and communities they serve as volunteer elected officials. School Board Recognition Week also provides an opportunity to promote awareness and understanding of the important work that board members perform for the students and families in the communities in which they live and serve.
