Welcome to the William Floyd School District Elementary Education Webpage. Our elementary schools consist of William Floyd Elementary, Tangier Smith Elementary, Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary, John S. Hobart Elementary, Moriches Elementary and William Floyd Learning Center. All of our elementary schools are committed to providing a high quality 21st Century education which enables students to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Our elementary schools provide the foundation for students enabling them to be successful and college and career ready.

William Floyd Elementary School kindergarten classes recently welcomed employees from Home Depot, to collaborate on a special wood-crafting project!
Members of the William Floyd Board of Education representing the entire Board, as well as all of our schools and community, spent this past weekend advocating at the National School Boards Association Advocacy Institute, held in Washington, D.C., a gathering of K-12 education leaders from across the nation who gather to advocate for their communities and to learn about the issues, policies and legislation that will most affect their districts.
