Mrs. Haakonson’s and Mrs. Wiemer’s 4th grade students are currently working as Kidsday reporters. Their work will be published in Newsday during the week of March 24-28. Students have been creating articles, stories, puzzles, jokes, recipes and poems for their issue.
Some students were given newly released board games, books, toys and video games to review. Four of the reporters had the unique opportunity to travel into NYC to interview Cody Simpson at Toys r Us in Times Square. The students have received “official” Press Passes from Kidsday and are extremely excited to be a part of this opportunity.
