Three members of the William Floyd school community have been selected as 2024 SCOPE Education Services “Shining Stars” and will be honored at the organization’s 23rd annual awards dinner scheduled for Monday, March 18! These three individuals – Dr. Malasia Walker, Director of Special Education; Michele Manion, Assistant Director of Special Education (secondary); and Ravi Seeram, Assistant Director of Special Education (elementary) – have been selected for exemplary service to education and the William Floyd School District.

Coinciding with the beginning of March and the celebration of Youth Art & Music Month, the William Floyd School District Fine Arts Department recently hosted their annual districtwide art show! Held in William Floyd High School’s south lobby, the Fine Arts department welcomed hundreds of community residents to take in all of the stunning visual artwork made by students in all grade levels across the district.

The William Floyd High School Theatre Arts program presents the spring musical production of Pippin running for three exciting shows over two days premiering Friday, March 15, followed by two shows on Saturday, March 16! This production follows the titular character, Pippin, the son of Charlemagne, as he works through his trials and tribulations attempting to find fulfillment in life.
