Members of the William Floyd High School boys’ and girls’ varsity lacrosse teams earned a host of awards for their tremendous efforts and accomplishments this season. Both teams also earned the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Scholar-Athlete Team award given to teams with a collective grade point average of 90 or higher for at least 75 percent of the team.

Kamryn Berberich – Suffolk County Division I All-County Honorable Mention
Keanna Sarmiento – Suffolk County Division I All-County Honorable Mention – William Floyd’s “Hammer Time” winner (most points in a season)
Skylar Fleischmann – Suffolk County Division I All-Division – William Floyd Coaches Award
Kayla Gilmore – Attack/Midfielder Division I Rookie of the Year
Alexa Denis – William Floyd’s Most Improved Player
Makayla Willets – William Floyd’s “Hard Hat” Winner (Hardest working player) – 2x Varsity MVP
Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse:
Jake Stellato – All-County for Division I
Noah Taylor – All-County for Division I
Jezayd Hall – All-Division Team
Additionally, congratulations to assistant coach Matt Miller for winning the Assistant Coach of the Year for Division I award and to Jezayd Hall, Andrew Bilotti and Noah Taylor for competing in this year’s Long Island Lacrosse Showcase, an all-star game featuring the top high school lacrosse players from Nassau and Suffolk counties.
