Caragh DeLuca is the national State and Local Tax Asset and Wealth Management (SALT AWM ) practice leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC”). As a partner based in the Chicago office, Caragh has more than 13 years of experience in the asset and wealth management industry serving private equity, fund of funds, hedge funds, real estate funds and their advisors. Caragh has extensive experience in the compliance and consulting space working with clients on multistate issues for their funds, GPs, management companies, partners and their portfolio companies. She also spends time representing partnerships and corporations in Illinois audit matters. Prior to joining the Chicago practice, Caragh spent seven years working in the New York Metro SALT AWM practice of PwC.
Additionally, Caragh serves on the board of directors at Chicago Child Care Society. In addition to her responsibilities as a board member, Caragh is chair of the Audit Committee and co-chair of the Resource Development Committee.
Caragh is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York and Illinois. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Black Accountants. She is a graduate of St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Master of Science degree in taxation.
