Ms. Taddeo shows empathy and compassion to all of her students.  She has helped students provide food for their family, linked students up with positive role models, and assisted students in choosing and participating in appropriate and positive after school activities.  Ms. Taddeo is always thinking of how she can better serve her students.  One student said, “ I think Ms. Taddeo should be nominated because she shows and shares acceptance, forgiveness and my favorite thing about her…compassion.”

Danielle is bright, sincere, and diligent in the classroom---a perfect student for all teachers.  However, Danielle is remarkable in many other ways.  She has motivated other students in my class and helped them to improve.

Heather works part time at Walmart.  When she received her paycheck before Christmas, she cashed it and anonymously paid the balance of a customer’s layaway for her six children which was over $200!  Heather had been inspired by a similar news report and wanted to “pay it forward.”

Due to her perseverance and responsibility, she was able to improve her math and logical skills.  She is a very disciplined student who is always willing to share her improvements with her classmates.  Her methods will drive her to success in life as well!

Fatbardha Domi

Fatbardha came to America at age 14.  With much determination, she worked hard to improve her English skills and to do well in school.  She was inducted into the National Honor Society in 9th grade and she is ranked in the top 10% of her class.  She is truly a kind hearted young woman who has a genuinely warm and upbeat and enthusiastic personality and an ever present smile!  She has also done much community service work.
