William Floyd is getting fit with healthy food choices and going green!

Floyd Gets Fit!
is much more than a new food menu -  it’s a movement.  Students are learning the value of making healthy choices at meal times that may contribute to making good decisions throughout their lives.  To remind them to make good choices, students districtwide will be receiving green bracelets bearing the slogan, Floyd Gets Fit!

Besides healthy school meal offerings, the District will no longer utilize polystyrene foam cups, trays and containers.  Polystyrene is a petroleum-based product that takes years to decompose.  By making this transformation, the William Floyd School District is helping to preserve the environment for future generations.
